Autonomous flight in subterranean, signal-degraded environments where traditional GPS is unavailable. The system needed real-time spatial mapping and collision avoidance on embedded edge hardware.

Custom SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) pipeline using LiDAR and optical flow sensor fusion. Inference models optimized and quantized to run locally on a Jetson-class SoC.
